P2 Finishing

P2 Finishing is a dedicated trade finishing and converting company to the printing industry within Ireland. Founded in April 2005, the company has continually invested in upgrading its machinery and expanding its service to the benefit of its highly valued customers.

To mark our third full year of operations in April 2008. we commissioned a fully reconditioned jagenberg105/2 carton gluer. This investment has exceeded all our expectations and to compliment this high speed carton gluing line we have recently installed a new high speed window patching machine.

This machine is the first of its type in Ireland and the UK and we foresee great benefits to our customers in the future.

Our Aim

P2 Finishing strives to provide a top-class quality service at all times. Confidentiality is a top priority and is assured at all times when dealing with our customers business. With our knowledge and experience within the printing sector we can liaise with our customers to ensure that all work processed is at the very least equalling if not exceeding our customers specification. We achieve this by understanding what each customer requires of us.

Every company has different needs, we tailor our services to meet with these individual needs, while at the same time acknowledging that flexibility and adaptability is an integral part in the printing environment.

Directors Background

A combined experience of over 30 years in the print finishing and packaging trade has given the two directors (Michael & Alan) an invaluable insight into what our customers require. In that time they have gained valuable knowledge and experience within the printing industry. Both directors have served time in a wide variety of print companies ranging from small localised finishing houses to major multinational print packaging companies both in Ireland and abroad. Not only have both directors operated in and supervised die-cutting and gluing departments, but they have also operated gravure printing presses, film laminating, folding, collating, shrink wrapping and ram punching machines. This vast knowledge combined with their hard work ethic and strong belief in being customer focused would be of great benefit to any potential customer.

Consultancy

As mentioned above, we pride ourselves in providing the best possible service. We believe that this can only be achieved by liaising with our customers and passing on our knowledge to them if and when the need should occur. We encourage our customers to involve us in their planning and origination of a job so as to avoid any unforeseen problems which may occur in the latter stages of the finishing process, saving both valuable time and money.
