P2 Finishing

Die-cutting is produced on two different types of automatic machinery. The Heidelberg cylinder and the Crosland AP-D automatic platen with in-line stripping capabilities. Both types of machine are very versatile in the range of substrates which can be converted on them. From standard 80gsm stock to 2mm white lined recycled board. It is also common to convert certain plastic materials automatically on these machines, reducing lead times and cost.

To accommodate other stock which is not suitable for these machines, a B1 manual hand platen has recently been installed.

Below is an introduction to the services we provide in our die-cutting department. Die-cutting, creasing, scoring (50% cut, 50% crease), perfing, embossing, de-bossing, top-splitting (kiss cut), punching are all standard on ourmachinery.
