 Carton gluing and pocket folder gluing are produced on two different styles of machinery. The folding carton gluer is capable of gluing a varied range of carton blanks. Straight line, crash lock, partition, 4 corner collapsible cartons and specials are all standard to our specialist machines. Presentation folders, airline ticket wallets and key cards are just a few styles of enclosed pockets which are produced on our Moll pocket folder gluing machine. This machine along with our two carton gluing lines gives us the flexibility and equipment to handle almost any gluing job.

Hot Melt Gluing

Hot melt gluing is used for the adhesion of laminated surfaces. The traditional method of cold glue will not form a strong enough bond to keep the finished product from opening. Hot melt eliminates this by bonding the two surfaces together with a more aggressive adhesive. |
Plough Folding Unit
|
| This unit is placed directly after the gate fold on the moll pocket folder gluer. It enables the folding upwards or ownwards of the product after the pocket has been glued. This makes the machine more versatile and allows us to final fold standard presentation folders to there finished closed size. |
Barcode Reading
|
| Barcode reading is the electronic reading of printed bars on the glue flap of a carton blank. The pre-determined barcode is scanned into the system and saved as the master template. If, while in production there is a contamination of the product and a rogue carton is mixed in with the run, the scanning head will recognize that there is a mix of product and will either stop the machine to allow removal of the rogue carton, or will tell the carton ejector to remove the bad carton during the run without any disruption to the production. |
